Collect or share the three-coin set of 2013 Mount Rushmore National Memorial Quarters – one each from the Denver, San Francisco, and Philadelphia Mints.
Over the decades, Mount Rushmore has grown in fame as a symbol of America – a symbol of freedom and a hope for people from all cultures and backgrounds. The sculpture, located in the scenic Black Hills of South Dakota, features the heads of former Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. Sculpted by Gutzon Borglum and his son, Lincoln Borglum, the memorial features 60-foot heads of the former presidents carved in the smooth, fine-grained granite that erodes only 1 inch every 10,000 years.
As part of the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program, the U.S. Mint introduced the America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Sets™ to honor the Nation’s national parks and other national sites.
Each three-coin set features an uncirculated quarter from the U.S. Mint at Philadelphia, an uncirculated quarter from the U.S. Mint at Denver and a proof quarter from the U.S. Mint at San Francisco with images specific to each national site. The coins are held in a durable plastic card that features a picturesque image and a brief description of the site and the coin, as well as a Certificate of Authenticity on the back of the card.
The America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set™ is also available through the U.S. Mint Product Enrollment Program. Visit our page for more information.
